The event structure:

- Arrive between 18:00 and 18:30. Then the door closes, the doorbell is silenced, and a short introduction starts at 18:30.

- (If you can’t make it by 18:30, please let the hosts know in advance so we can plan accordingly)

- Take a few minutes to change, store your belongings, and get ready to tie.

- Introduction at 18:30: hosts will explain the evening's structure, safety, and rules.

- Play time from 18:45 to 21:00. Rope space is open for tying, with a chill-out area and bar on the side.

- Consent, respect, and a safeword are the foundation of the evening, and everyone who attends agrees to follow the rules.

ROPE JAM | Rules

These rules keep Rope Jam safe, respectful, and focused on rope. By attending, you agree to follow them.

  1. Consent comes first

- Consent is mandatory for every activity. Always ask before touching or tying someone.

- The safeword "Red" stops any activity, and it is shared by everyone in the room.

- Example: Before moving a stranger's rope, ask "May I touch your rope?" Silence or a hesitant answer means no.

  1. Zero tolerance for abuse

- Harassment, discrimination, and abuse of any kind are not tolerated. Respect every participant and their boundaries.

  1. Sobriety

- Please don't use alcohol or drugs before or during the event.

  1. Privacy, No video recording

- Video and audio recording are not allowed.

- Photography is only permitted with explicit consent from everyone involved.

- Example: A photo of your own rope work needs your partner's yes, and nobody else may be recognizable in the frame without their consent.

  1. Boundaries of play: Not permitted

- Single-point inversions

- Tied-off neck rope

- Institutional play (e.g., school, police) and uniforms

- Scat, blood, vomit

- Glitter and oils

  1. Keep the tying space quiet

- Rope Jam is about rope, so keep talking in the main tying space to a minimum. Chat where it fits:

- Tying space: quiet, only what you need to communicate with your partner

- Chill-out area: moderate-volume conversation is welcome

- Changing area: louder conversation is fine

- Example: A whispered "how does that tension feel?" is perfect. A story about your week belongs in the chill-out area.

  1. No shoes in the rope space

- Please take off your shoes before entering to keep the floor clean and safe.

See you on the mats! 🧘
